East Africa - Uganda, Rwanda, Tanzania

During my time in the MBA program at the University of Denver, I was able to go on a global trip to work on a business project. We traveled to Uganda for the majority of our project where I got to spend time in Kampala, the capital, and the Lake Bunyonyi region where my group's project took place. We worked with a company called the Global Livingston Institute to help their boat business on the lake. After the business portion of the trip was complete, we were treated to a safari in Rwanda. This was truly once in a lifetime. I got to see all sorts of animals normally seen in the zoo. Seeing a wild a herd of wild elephants for the first time was mesmerizing. This was an experience that I definitely want to have again in the future. To conclude the trip, I traveled to Tanzania with some friends. Being able to walk around the island of Zanzibar (off the coast of Tanzania) was a magical experience. I was able to buy some amazing gifts and an amazing painting that will always remind me of the trip.

San Diego, CA

After my time in NYC, I decided a change was in order. I wanted to find a place that was new and different from city life. Instead of looking down the east coast, I decided to switch coasts and go to California. Going to San Diego provided me a new job opportunity and many new experiences. Being able to walk along California beaches was the highlight of my time.

Hoboken, NJ/New York City, NY

New York City, the city that never sleeps. A statement has never been more true. After my undergraduate experience, I got my first job offer in NYC. I never saw myself in NYC, but I sure did love it. As a Yankees fan, I couldn't have been happier to be be so close to Yankee Stadium and to share some great experiences with my father. I was also able to see many of the most famous sites in NYC, like Radio City Music Hall. It was very fun to call this place home. While I technically lived in Hoboken, NJ, NYC was where I spent most of my time. It also didn't hurt that the food was the best in the world.
